Managed Workstation & Server (Monitoring & Security)

The Tech: We deploy lightweight remote agents to all covered workstations and servers. This enables automated patching (Microsoft, third-party apps, drivers, firmware) and continuous tracking of CPU, memory, and disk health against critical thresholds. Server up/down status and critical services are monitored 24/7.

The Benefit: Total visibility without the overhead. Note: This is a monitoring and security agreement, not a labor-inclusive contract. Remediation labor is billed separately only when tickets are worked, keeping baseline costs predictable for your clients.

Detect and Respond Security

The Tech: We move beyond basic antivirus. Every device is shielded by Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) utilizing behavioral analysis. Security events from firewalls, endpoints, and cloud identity providers are fed into a centralized SIEM for correlation. We also monitor cloud accounts for suspicious activity and enforce MFA.

What's included in this bundle?

The Telco Basic Bundle includes managed workstation and server monitoring (not labor-inclusive), Detect and Respond endpoint security with SIEM integration, 24x7x365 SOC coverage, email spam filtering, cloud identity monitoring and MFA, Security Awareness Training (including simulated phishing and dark web monitoring), and M365 Cloud Backup covering mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, calendars, contacts, and tasks.
Is this bundle labor-inclusive?

No. The monitoring and security components are included in the bundle, but labor for IT remediation when tickets are worked is billed separately at the applicable hourly rate. This makes the bundle appropriate for organizations that handle most of their own IT but want security and backup professionally managed.
What does M365 backup actually protect against?

Microsoft 365's built-in retention is not the same as a backup. If a file is permanently deleted, a mailbox is accidentally emptied, or an account is compromised and data is destroyed, Microsoft's standard retention may not recover everything you need. This backup captures a scheduled copy of your M365 data and stores it in encrypted cloud storage that you can restore from independently.
What's covered under security awareness training?

Annual online training for all staff, weekly micro-training focused on current phishing and scam tactics, monthly security newsletters, simulated phishing campaigns with results tracking, dark web monitoring to flag compromised credentials, and customizable security policies. Everything runs through a single portal.
How does the SOC handle threats detected after hours?

Security events are monitored continuously. When a critical threat is confirmed, OXEN's SOC team investigates and escalates based on defined SLAs. Critical incidents receive a 30-minute response regardless of time. The SOC handles the security side; IT remediation labor is billed separately as needed.
What's not included?

Data recovery for M365 backup is not included in the bundle (recovery is available separately). HIPAA modules for security awareness training are not included. Labor for IT issue remediation is billed separately.
Can I add labor-inclusive IT management later?

Yes. OXEN's Operate D&R or Operate BPS Bundles include labor-inclusive IT management alongside the same security components. Moving to a labor-inclusive agreement adds predictable IT support costs alongside your security coverage.
