What Microsoft 365 data is covered?

Exchange Online mailboxes, OneDrive files, SharePoint content, Teams assets, calendars, contacts, and tasks. The backup covers the core services your team uses daily across Microsoft 365. 
Doesn't Microsoft already protect our data?

Microsoft provides some retention and recycle bin features, but they're not a substitute for a true backup. Retention policies have time limits, permanent deletions can bypass recycle bins, and overwritten files may not be recoverable past certain version thresholds. M365 Cloud Backup gives you an independent, encrypted copy that doesn't depend on Microsoft's retention configuration. 
Is data recovery included in the service?

Data recovery is handled as a separate request and is not included in the base service fee. When you need files, mailboxes, or sites restored, OXEN handles the recovery process. Recovery is not automatic - it's a supported activity on request. 
How is this priced?

M365 Cloud Backup is priced per user, per month. That price covers backup for all supported Microsoft 365 services tied to each user's account - Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. 
How is this different from the Managed Backup service?

Managed Backup protects on-premises servers, workstations, and local infrastructure. M365 Cloud Backup specifically protects SaaS application data in your Microsoft 365 tenant. They cover different environments and work well together as part of a complete data protection strategy. 
Can this service cover Google Workspace too?

Yes. The underlying backup platform supports Google Workspace and other SaaS applications in addition to Microsoft 365. Talk to OXEN about your specific environment if you use multiple platforms. 
Is the backup data encrypted?

Yes. All backup data is encrypted in transit and at rest in cloud storage, stored independently from your production Microsoft 365 environment.
