OXEN Technology officially marked an exciting new chapter with a full day of celebration during its Ribbon Cutting ceremonies and Open House at its Joplin, Missouri location on May 27, 2026. A Day of Celebration Across the Region
The day began at noon with a Ribbon Cutting hosted in partnership with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, where OXEN leaders, community members, and the Mayor of Joplin, Rob O’Brian, gathered to officially recognize the company’s continued investment in the local economy. His presence underscored the importance of business growth and innovation in strengthening the Joplin community.
Later in the afternoon, the celebration continued with a second Ribbon Cutting at 3:00 p.m., this time in partnership with the Webb City Chamber of Commerce. This ceremony formally welcomed OXEN into the Webb City Chamber and reinforced the company’s growing regional footprint.
Together, these moments highlighted the strong support OXEN receives across the broader Joplin and Webb City business communities.
Opening the Doors to Innovation
Between and following the ceremonies, guests were invited to experience OXEN’s Open House, where the team showcased its modern workspace and connected directly with attendees. The event provided a behind-the-scenes look at how OXEN delivers cybersecurity and managed IT solutions designed to be Strong. Simple. Trusted.
The atmosphere was upbeat and engaging, filled with conversations, introductions, and the kind of authentic connections that define strong business communities. Guests had the opportunity to meet OXEN experts, learn about evolving cybersecurity challenges, and explore how strategic technology partnerships help organizations stay secure and operational.
A Milestone Moment with Momentum
Ribbon cuttings mark more than the opening of a physical space; they signal the beginning of new opportunity. In Joplin, that meaning was amplified by the energy of the crowd, the presence of civic leadership, and the collaboration between chambers.
For OXEN Technology, the dual ceremonies and Open House represented a clear statement of intent: continued growth, deeper local engagement, and a commitment to helping organizations navigate increasingly complex technology and cybersecurity environments.
"For many years, OXEN has focused on helping organizations succeed through dependable technology and trusted partnerships. Over the last year and a half, OXEN has focused on maturing its cybersecurity and compliance programs. This development allows us to deepen those relationships and bring OXEN’s high-touch, white-glove approach even closer to its clients. OXEN is more than a vendor. We strive to become the go-to partner for our clients," said OXEN President Heather Lantz.
Strong. Simple. Trusted.
With the support of both the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as local leadership, the event underscored OXEN’s expanding role in the region.
From the first ribbon cut at noon to the final conversations of the afternoon, the message was clear: OXEN Technology is not only investing in infrastructure, but also in community, partnerships, and the future of business in Joplin.
And this is just the beginning.
