Saving messages in Teams

If you use Microsoft Teams to communicate regularly with your team members, you may frequently want to refer back to certain messages. But finding a single message in a deluge of chat messages can be almost impossible!

What’s the solution? You can flag and save individual messages and quickly access them again.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Hover over a chat message you want to save. Click the More options (••) icon.
  2. At the top of the menu, click Save message.
Save messages in TeamsTo view your saved messages, click your profile image in the top right of the Teams window.
  3. Click Saved. It will show you saved messages that are highlighted.

How do you unsave? If you no longer need a message, you can hover over it, choose More options, and then click Unsave message. This will remove it from your list of saved messages.
